Gatt: Busuttil will make 'excellent' deputy leader

Infrastructure Minister Austin Gatt said this evening that Simon Busuttil will be an 'excellent' deputy leader of the Nationalist Party. Dr Gatt made the comment when he wrapped up an interview on Radio 101 where he was questioned about the Budget. Just yesterday Dr Bussuttil when asked about Dr Gatt, told The Sunday Times that he is prepared to work with Austin Gatt if the minister was prepared to work with him. "I've always worked well with Austin Gatt, though I tend to end up disagreeing with him after spending five minutes in the same room. But we respect each other and I'm prepared to work with him if he's prepared to work with me," he said.
