Special day for little Shezyan

Dressed in a beautiful white dress, five-year-old Shezyan Zammit looked the picture of innocence and purity as she walked down the aisle before her emotional parents Vince Carl and Marisa. The family stepped out of a sleek limousine where they were greeted by bagpipes and animators dressed as Shezyan's favourite princess. The San Gwann parish church was packed with well wishers - even Prime Minister Joseph Muscat, his wife Michelle and twins Soleil and Etoile lent their support by attending. Shezyan's parents, who were married civilly, were also wedded by Fr Effie Mallia, with Mark Borg acting as one of the witnesses and little Shezyan bearing their rings. The special day was organised by the Daqqa t'Id Foundation.
