Splash and Fun Park said this afternoon that a chemical and microbiological analysis report issued by the Public Health Department yesterday clearly showed there was no contamination in any of the park’s pools.
In a statement this afternoon, the park said that the water quality complied fully with the highest standards and met or exceeded local health authority regulations.
“The test results again confirm that there is absolutely no evidence of any trace of contamination of any nature. None of the tests conducted previously over the past months at any time indicate any such health issues of contamination in any of the Park’s pools.”
The weekly newspaper KullĦadd reported on Sunday that the water at the popular fun park was contaminated and that health authorities found traces of E.Coli, a bacterium that can cause food poisoning symptoms.
Splash and Fun said the public should be made aware that the park operator was under legal obligation to take multiple daily readings to monitor and keep records of readings of the water quality, which had to be made available to the competent authority on request at any time.
“This procedure is carried out rigorously every single day.
