Man stabbed in stomach

A 25-year-old man who was wounded during an alleged scuffle with a 45-year-old woman and a 22-year-old man, all of whom live in Cospicua, is in a stable condition, the police said. They said the man was stabbed in his stomach with a pointed instrument during an argument in Triq Matty Grima, Cospicua, at 10.30pm yesterday. The police said they were informed of the fight by the victim, who limped into the local police station accompanied by a 25-year-old woman. He was escorted to the health centre for first aid before being conveyed to hospital.
