Fire in hotel store in Xlendi

Updated - Firemen this evening tackled a fire which broke out in a store belonging to St Patrick's Hotel in Xlendi. Three fire crews were deployed by the Civil Protection Department at about 8.30 p.m. The hotel's guests and staff were evacuated as a precaution. No one was injured.  The situation was brought under control within a relatively short time.
