Young woman, 19, hit by car in Msida

Updated 2.30pm A young woman was rushed to hospital on Tuesday morning after she was hit by a car on the Msida seafront. The 19-year-old youth from Oman was hit by a Hyundai i20 being driven by a 68-year-old woman from Gżira shortly after 11am She was taken to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance, where doctors certified her as being gravely injured.  Police said they are investigating further.
