Security Service head in court over traffic accident

The former head of the Security Service, Godfrey Scicluna, 61 of Paola, was this morning accused in court of having, through carelessness, involuntarily seriously injured 91-year-old Raffaele Lugermo on June 2 at about 1 p.m. The injuries were caused when Mr Scicluna hit Mr Lugermo with his car. Mr Lugermo suffered fractures and bruising. He died last month from natural causes. Mr Scicluna has suspended himself from the service.
