Citrus Festival on Jan 20

The Community Chest Fund will hold the Citrus Festival on January 20, selling oranges, lemons and products based on oranges and lemons from the gardens of San Anton Palace. The festival, now in its fourth year, was launched by Margaret Abela, wife of the President. The gardens feature some 600 trees. Schoolchildren this morning helped pick some oranges while they were lectured on the benefits of eating oranges. Profit from the activity will go to the Puttinu Cares Foundation.
