Man falls into garden centre after losing control of car

A 27-year-old man from Marsaxlokk was grievously injured this afternoon after he fell into a garden centre about a storey below road level when he lost control of his car. The police said the accident happened at around 2.15pm at the Mriehel Bypass. The victim was driving a Toyota Vitz towards Qormi. He had to be helped out of the car by Civil Protection Department officers and a medical team.
