Man injured in fall

A 43-year-old man from Ghaxaq was grievously injured this morning when he fell two storeys down a well in Triq il-Keffa, Swieqi, at 8am. He is not in a critical condition. The police said the man was carrying out construction work on site when the accident happened. He was helped out of the well by other workers and was later helped by Civil Protection Department employees and a medical team. He was taken to hospital for treatment. An inquiry is being held.
