President visits prisoners

President George Abela this morning visited prisoners at Corradino. He appealed to them to use their time in jail transforming themselves internally and learning from their experience and encouraged them to use their time inside to continue with their education. During his visit, he watched play put up by residents and was taken round an exhibition. He donated books in Maltese to the facility’s library given following a request to the Akkademja tal-Malti.
