Woman keeps her cool after fall

A 28-year-old Belgian woman kept her cool when she fell a height of some three storeys down a cliff in Xlendi this afternoon. The woman used her mobile phone to call 112 and raise the alarm. A search for her was carried out by the AFM using a helicopter, the police and the Civil Protection Department. Once located, rescuers from the Civil Protection Department abseiled down to rescue her. She was not seriously injured, her fall having been broken.
