Some 10 people were involved in a fist fight between Monti hawkers at Ta' Qali open market this afternoon.
People on the scene said the fight developed after an argument on the allocation of places for the stalls.
A number of persons were slightly injured, and a pregnant woman was taken to hospital for observation.
The police are investigating.
