Skolasajf and Klabb 3-16 will open on Friday after administrative problems which kept them closed this week were resolved, the Education Ministry said.
All 63 centres in Malta and Gozo will function normally, it said.
Yesterday, Education Minister Evarist Bartolo said disciplinary measures would be taken against those responsible for the “disastrous” organisation of Skola Sajf.
An internal inquiry into how the merger of the government summer schooling service with Klabb 3-16 was coordinated will also be carried out.
The summer educational service was postponed on Monday.
More than 10,800 pupils had signed up for the service. However, parents were left fuming after being told it was unavailable, less than 24 hours before schools were due to open their gates, and many vented their frustration on the social media.
“Is this the way working parents are treated? I received an SMS at 11 the night before. How can you incentivise mothers to go back to work with this sort of attitude,” one irate parent complained on Facebook.
