Action against illegally reserved space for ice cream van

The transport watchdog will be taking action after it transpired that a reserved parking space used on a daily basis by an ice cream van in Dwejra, Gozo, was illegal. This newspaper was alerted about the case by a reader who said that the yellow box had been painted overnight between May 31 and June 1. A Transport Malta spokesman confirmed that no such permit was issued and would be taking the necessary action to rectify the situation.
