SWAT training for the police

Fifty members of the police Rapid Intervention Unit are currently undergoing SWAT (Special Weapons and Tactics) training, Home Affairs Minister Manuel Mallia said in reply to a parliamentary question by opposition MP Jason Azzopardi. He said more such training would be given to other RIU members according to the exigencies of the service.
