ARTS FESTIVALS Malta Summer Festival The festival continues today with An Evening with Donizetti at Fort St Elmo, starring soprano Tatiana Lisnic and tenor Celso Albelo and the Orquesta Sinfónica de Navarra of Spain under the baton of Iván López-Reynoso. The concert includes some of the most loved arias from Donizetti’s operas Anna Bolena, Lucrezia Borgia and L’Elisir d’Amore. Tribute will also be paid to Maltese composer Nicolò Isuard with the performance of his Joconde Overture. The festival is presented by the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra, in collaboration with Arts Council Malta and the Malta Tourism Authority, with the support of Hilton Malta and the Ministry of Gozo.
