The busy Siġġiewi-Zebbuġ junction is to be upgraded to facilitate traffic flow and ease travel time, Infrastructure Malta said on Wednesday. It said the roundabout will be removed and there will be new dedicated lanes for all routes merging at this crossroads. Travel times will be reduced by 30%, the agency said. All works will be completed by the end of September.
