The police are investigating the circumstances of the death of a 39-year-old man discovered in Kirkop this afternoon.
The lifeless body was found in a garage on the outskirts of the village.
A shotgun was close by.
The police still have to establish whether this was a homicide. Homicide investigators were on the scene.
A magisterial inquiry is under way.
