A man was grievously injured on Friday morning in a fall while at work at the Freeport. The police said the accident, in Birżebbuġa, happened at around 9am. Civil Protection Department officers were called on site to help the 64-year-old man from Luqa, who fell a height of around one storey. He was rushed to Mater Dei. Police investigations are ongoing.
