Man hospitalised after Kirkop tunnel crash

A driver was hospitalised late yesterday after his light van crashed into the wall of the Kirkop tunnel. The accident happened at about 9 pm. Rescuers from the Civil Protection Department were on site to free the man from the wreckage before he was rushed to hospital in an ambulance.
