A hooded man armed with a knife stole cash in a hold-up on a Paola establishment late on Wednesday. The police said the case unfolded at 10pm in a shop in Antoine De Paule Square in the heart of Paola, where the man demanded the money from the cashier, a 50-year-old woman. He then fled the scene. No one was injured.
