Northway, a financial services company with offices in Sliema, has dismissed 65 workers.
Another group of 30 workers was dismissed in December.
The dismissals were revealed in Parliament yesterday by Nationalist MP Marthese Portelli, although she did not reveal the name of the company. She insisted that the government should create the environment for business to grow, rather than undermine Malta’s reputation by actions such as the citizenship scheme.
