Two injured in separate accidents

A 53-year-old-man was grievously injured when he fell off a ladder while carrying out maintenance works at a factory today, the police said. The incident happened at about 10 a.m., in Triq tal-Gruwa, Xewkija. An hour later, a 77-year-old man was hospitalised after falling more than two storeys into a courtyard. The man had reportedly been climbing from one roof to another and fell off the boundary wall. The police said the accident happened in Triq Santu Rokku, Qormi.
