A new chairman has been appointed at the Foundation for Medical Services, succeeding a person who says he had never accepted the job.
Contacted after the announcement, on November 8, that he was succeeded by former Air Malta CEO Joe Capello, Mario Grech told this newspaper he was not aware he was the foundation’s serving chairman.
“I was aware that I was nominated chairman but did not realise I was effectively appointed because I never accepted the post,” Mr Grech, a former chairman of Middle Sea Insurance, told Times of Malta.
