Yachtsman makes it safely to shore after boat capsizes

An intrepid yachtsman today refused assistance when his boat capsized just a few hundred metres from St Paul’s Islands. Marcus Geiger, who submitted the photos above, said the yachtsman spent half an hour in the waters dismantling the sail and righting the small yacht, only for it to nearly capsize a second time. Not fazed by this latest setback, the yachtsman smiled and phoned home. He eventually sailed slowly towards harbour.
