Two hospitalised after horse bolts

A horse rider and a car driver were hospitalised after being injured when a horse bolted this morning in Triq Bella Vista, San Ġwann. The incident happened at about 5.30 a.m. The police said an 18-year-old who resides in San Ġwann was riding the horse towards Triq Taż-Żwejt from Regional Road when it bolted and threw the teenager onto the windscreen of a Daihatsu Sirion being driven by a 33-year-old woman from San Ġwann.
