The Times of Malta newsroom will move into new territory when it starts hosting a weekly television programme on State television from October 1.
#Times Talk will provide a deeper insight into the stories making the headlines, be they social, cultural or political, as well as taking a snapshot of off the wall stories.
The programme was among five current affairs programmes launched by the national broadcaster on Friday night.
The programme will be presented by Times of Malta’s head of media Herman Grech and chief reporter Mark Micallef, backed by the biggest newsroom in Malta.
It is the same team behind The Big Debate, the widely-acclaimed political leaders’ debate held last February.
#TimesTalk will be transmitting live from the PBS studios every Tuesday at 7pm on TVM with a repeat on TVM 2 at 10.15pm.
Viewers, social media users, and readers of timesofmalta.com can interact with the programme presenters and make their views and ideas known on the Facebook page, Twitter #timestalk and timesofmalta.com.
The other current affairs programmes during the same time slot are Reporter on Mondays, Għandi Xi Ngħid on Wednesdays, Dissett on Thursdays and Focus on Fridays.
