Nine people arrested after drug finds

Nine people were arrested following cannabis and cocaine finds. The police said five were arrested on Saturday after cocaine and cannabis were found in their possession at a residence in Siġġiewi. They are two men, aged 27 and 30, both from Siġġiewi, a 27-year-old man from Qormi, and two women, aged 20 and 23, from Siggiewi and St Paul’s Bay, respectively. The other four were arrested following a raid at a farmhouse in Siġġiewi after the police were informed that a party without the necessary permits and during which illegal acts were being carried out was taking place at a residence in Siġġiewi. The four people - three men aged 18, 21 and 24, all from Siġġiewi and a 42-year-old woman from St Paul’s Bay, were found in possession of cocaine and cannabis.
