Vox pop: Are people worried about the buses?

Fires on two bendy buses in one day, following several other similar incidents, have stoked a debate about their safety and suitability for Malta’s roads. But commuters yesterday did not appear to be too perturbed. Some of them, questioned by Keith Micallef at the Valletta terminus were more concerned by lack of reliability and punctuality, an issue that has plagued the service from the outset. Arriva has insisted that its buses are safe. Transport Malta is carrying out an investigation.
