Man arrested over theft of water

A man was arrested yesterday after the police received an anonymous report that water was being stolen from an unused public convenience in Xatt il-Braken, Marsa. The police said the arrest was made at 7.30 pm after officers found that the man had connected the water main to a thousand-litre water tank he had in his van.
