Six hurt in two accidents

Updated 11.35 pm - Six people were hurt in two traffic accidents this evening. In the first accident, three people were injured in a collision at the junction of Triq Ghajn Tuffieha with Triq il-Palma in St Paul's Bay this afternoon. The accident happened at about 5.30pm. The junction has been closed to traffic. Two of the injured were in a rented Maruti jeep while the other was the driver of a Peugeot. In the second accident, in the late evening, another three persons were hurt in a collision on the Coast Road. The road was closed until investigations were made. The injured were hospitalized.
