Elderly swimmer dies while swimming in Marsalforn

An elderly Maltese man died while swimming in Marsalforn this afternoon. The Emergency Response and Rescue Corps said sea conditions were calm and the cause of death is under investigation.  Attempts by rescuers to give first aid were in vain.
