Forgotten bag causes bomb scare at MIA

A black sports bag that was left or forgotten just outside the departures building at Malta International Airport caused a scare this afternoon until army bomb disposal experts ascertained that there was no danger. The incident happened at about 5 p.m. People were kept at a safe distance but the terminal building remained operational.
