Updated: Woman injured in accident

A 21-year-old woman from St Julian's was slightly injured in a car crash in Regional Road, San Gwann at 12.45pm. The woman was driving a Citroen C3 towards Paceville when she collided with a BMW 320D being driven by a 65-year-old man from Ghajnsielem. As a result of the crash, the BMW spun to face the opposite direction while the Citroen swerved into a crash barrier. The woman was extracted from her car by members of the Civil Protection Department.
