Colombian student jailed 7 months

A Colombian student in Malta to study English was today jailed for seven months after he stole a handbag. Last week he was fined €500 after he was caught with a joint. Leonardo de Jesus Sastre Palacios, 19, admitted to stealing the bag, handling stolen property and relapsing.
