Car falls in valley in traffic accident

A 57-year-old man from Zebbug was grievously injured in a traffic accident this afternoon. He is not in a critical condition. The man was driving a Ford Fiesta in Mdina Road, Qormi, when he crashed into bollards and fell into Wied ic-Cawsli. He had to be taken out of the car by members of the Civil Protection Department, the police said. The accident happened at around 2.55pm.
