A group of 104 migrants arrived at Haywharf this evening.
Another eight, who were seriously ill, have already been brought in and taken to hospital for treatment. They included seven women.
In all, the group consisted of 88 men, 20 women - one of whom is pregnant, and four infants.
Their rubber dinghy was seen by an Armed Forces of Malta aircraft some 34 nautical miles south of Malta during routine patrol and a patrol boat was sent to the site.
The migrant vessel was in distress and drifting.
The AFM Operations Centre has been actively coordinating this migrant dinghy for the past 13 hours.
Today's arrivals make this the record month for migrant landings in Malta ever.
A total of 669 landed by July 14 this year and another 218 (including today's) in the past days. This brings the number to 880.
A total 819 had come in March 2011.
