Sta Venera tunnels to close for fireworks

The Sta Venera tunnels will be closed between 8 and 10pm tomorrow so that fireworks could be let off from a field overlooking the road. It is the first time since 2007 that such permission has been granted. While fireworks enthusiasts have hailed the decision, others were left fumingknowing it will likely lead to traffic jams.
