Two men were remanded in custody today after being taken to court and accused of attempted murder in separate cases.
Giovanni Farrugia, 49 of Valletta was accused of the attempted murder of a man who suffered a stab wound in Great Siege Road, Valletta, yesterday.
He was also accused of relapsing, breaching a probation order and illegal use of a weapon.
In the second case, Mohammed Abukar Nur, a 38-year-old Somali, was remanded in custody after pleading not guilty to the attempted murder of another Somali two days ago in Birzebbuga.
The case happened during an argument.
He was also accused of causing serious injury.
