Tunnel, bridge or ferry? How best to link Malta and Gozo?

During a public consultation meeting held earlier this month, Gozo Minister Anton Refalo alluded to the possibility of calling a referendum to determine whether Gozitans prefer a tunnel or a bridge to connect Malta and Gozo. This served to once again spark a debate over the Malta-Gozo link, with people hotly arguing for their favourite option. Kim Dalli boarded the Gozo Channel ferry to gauge the commuters’ preference – should it be a tunnel, a bridge or perhaps an improvement of the ferry service?
