Passengers hurt in bus-car crash

A number of people were injured this afternoon in a head-on collision between a bendy-bus and a VW Golf on the Coast Road. The crash took place at about 4.20pm at the junction to Maghtab. The road has been closed in both directions. According to initial reports, passengers on the bus were hurt, although their injuries are not thought to be serious. The Golf was being driven by a 21-year-old from Mosta while the bus was being driven by a 41-year-old from Luqa.
