SmartCity Malta to donate €100,000 to L-istrina

SmartCity Malta will this year donate €100,000 to L-istrina mill-Qalb 2012 - Malta's largest philanthropic initiative. For the first time ever, L-istrina will have its opening ceremony at SmartCity Malta  at 12 noon on  December 26. This will be followed by events which will continue till sundown. The President thanked SmartCity Malta for its significant contribution and support towards L-istrina mill-Qalb 2012. "With SmartCity Malta on board this year, we now have a third venue – Verdala Palace, Gozo and, in the South, SmartCity Malta. We wanted to make it easier for the people of Malta to  join in the festivities at any of the three venues". CEO, Fareed Abdulrahman said that the SmartCity team was excited about hosting the first large event at SmartCity Malta for the people of Malta and expected others to follow.
