The 'monti' is shifted...by a few metres

The monti open market in Merchants' Street, Valletta, was shifted by a few metres this morning to facilitate work on the Palace. The hawkers were moved up Merchants' Street. The market is expected to move to Ordinance Street by the end of the year.
