Earth Garden returned with a vengeance this weekend, with a bigger crowd of people than in the past enjoying themselves at Ta' Qali. Among them were many young tourists.
The three-day ethnic festival, which started on Friday promoted environmental awareness through art, music and culture. Activities were held in and around the Greek Theatre main stage and the Open Village and included the Roots stage, the Electronic Sphere, a camping area, a chill-out corner, a jamming area, an Arts area, Ethnic market and a Kids’ area.
Popular group Tribali were on stage yesterday.
Today's programme includes a Yada dance production aptly named The Summer of Love, Woodstock Edition.
The Roots stage will feature UK band Moulettes, hailed as frontrunners of the new British acoustic scene, as well as various local acts, namely Zalza Kukkanja, Irie Flo, Stalko, Manu Tapu, Fellow Fish, The Creepers and The Busker. The Electronic Sphere will be hosted by Perpendicular, featuring Slim, Carl Lautier, Mato and Danjeli.
