Fireworks enthusiast hurt in Hal Għaxaq

A fireworks enthusiast from Zejtun was injured last night during the letting off of fireworks in Hal-Għaxaq. The incident happened soon after 10 p.m. as the feast of St Joseph was approaching its end. The man, 47, suffered grievous injuries to his right hand. He was hospitalised.
