Early morning collision leaves pedestrian in hospital

A 67-year-old Irish man was hospitalised after being struck by a car in Sliema early on Friday morning.  The incident happened in Windsor Street in Sliema at 1am when a 30-year-old man from Mosta lost control of his Smart car, and hit the pedestrian. Investigations are still underway.
