Updated - De Marco submits nomination for PN deputy leader for parliamentary affairs

Updated - Adds video. Mario de Marco has submitted his nomination for the election of PN deputy leader for parliamentary affairs, the only candidate to do so. He submitted his nomination just minutes before the 2 pm. deadline, joking that submitting his nomination at the last minute was in keeping with 'tradition' and he had done the same for the leadership contest. In brief comments, Dr de Marco recalled that he had said he would serve in whichever role the party needed him in. He said he was not pressured in any way to contest the post  and he was doing this for the good of the party.
