Woman injured in Floriana crash

Updated 7.20pm A 50-year-old woman from Qrendi was hospitalised on Wednesday after crashing into the arcades in St Anne Street, Floriana. The police said the accident happened at 1.30pm. The woman was driving a court-owned Citroen C1. She suffered grievous injuries and had to be assisted out of the car by members of the Civil Protection Department. The police are investigating.
