Firework remains explode at Ghaxaq

Waste from the production of fireworks, including some chemicals, exploded outside St Mary Fireworks Factory near Ghaxaq this evening. No one was injured. The blast took place at about 8 p.m. and is not believed to have caused serious damage. Firemen of the Civil Protection Department were on the scene.
